Three two-week sessions for students 14–18 years old, Monday–Friday, 1 p.m.–4 p.m. Each session is focused in one studio, with students spending three hours in one of our art-making studios. Tobaric Atkins-Montana will serve as the mentor for time-based and performing arts students. This immersive studio will not only sharpen your design skills but also empower you as a creator. Through a hands-on approach to drawing, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of urban form through the act of physical creation.
Enhanced with stunning audio-visuals, The Shift invites audiences of all ages and genders to connect with universal themes of transformation, identity, and community. The dancers, aged from their mid-20s to 40s, prove that dance is for everyone – no matter your background, experience, or stage of life. You’ll also be able to catch the Hogwarts Always nighttime projection show that features a school year at Hogwarts, all projected onto Hogwarts Castle. You’ll be able to see this show on select dates from April 14th through August 24th. The Hogwarts Always projection show is also making its way back to Universal Islands of Adventure this summer. This projection show takes places on the Hogwarts Castle in the Hogsmeade section of the park.
Summer In The Studios!
Six Flags has just announced that they’re CLOSING on of their theme parks entirely this… For starters, there are some entertainment offerings returning for the summer you don’t want to miss! While these offerings are not new as they have been seen in the parks before, they are returning for summer. For all who believe the wilderness must be explored, you can unlock a special, limited-time Wilderness Explorers badge along the way. As you make your way around the park, keep an eye out for some amazing animals, including tigers, okapi and more. Get ready to roam, explore, and earn your adventure stripes!
We recommend comfortable clothes that aren’t anyone’s favorite. Given that we’re working with art materials there exists the possibility clothing could get stained. The curriculum is tailored for the listed age ranges to meet state educational guidelines. It is best for each student attending and the educator instructing that we honor that. For that reason, we kindly ask you to refrain from registering your child if they are not within the listed age range. MCG Youth admits students of any race, sex, national origin, religion, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
Summer Art Studios is the most comprehensive and largest summer arts experience for students in San Antonio, offering seven weeks of classes for students ages 7–18. Our artist-teachers focus on fundamentals such as drawing and painting, as well as experimental design and classes that explore world cultures. UTSA Southwest is unique in offering media such as wheel throwing, metalsmithing, photography, and sculpture. Summer Art Studios allows young artists to work with like-minded peers and culminates in a public celebration of their work each week.

Summer Studios is an all-inclusive art space providing community classes for kids, teens, and adults of all skill levels, since 2005. For the student who has taken several clay classes and feels comfortable making basic forms. Expect troubleshooting sessions and a variety of teacher lead demos.
What Does My Student Need To Bring?
Dive into the world of scrapbook making by building, binding, and personalizing your scrapbook. You’ll explore various creative techniques and fun multimedia projects throughout the week. Plus, you’ll have a chance to discover the incredible scrapbook style of William Henry Johnson, exploring his unique compositions and themes along the way. This program provides a rigorous art and design school experience, with students engaging in critiques as they work toward an exhibition at the conclusion of the program. Students have the option to engage in the full college experience by staying in the dorms and eating in our dining halls for the week.
For students entering grades 11-12, this program is a four-week intensive experience in art making and critical thinking. Students develop the practice and skills required to achieve excellence in their artistic endeavors and produce work for their portfolios. At Summer Evans Studio, we strive to provide the ultimate hair experience from start to finish using advanced methods and techniques. Our education-driven stylists attend weekly training and attend monthly classes which means that they are highly knowledgeable and will help you find a look that suits your individual style.
We’re a full service creative production house based in Sydney, Australia. We live for what we do – creating authentic, meaningful content for brands and bands. Classes are held once a week – please call in advance to confirm the availability of classes. Project Row Houses served as a big inspiration for my installation.

Her practice explores the materiality of objects, disassembling wood and steel, and building with dirt and paint, seeking to make visible the experiences of resistance, grief, joy, and softness. She is interested in exploring the continual oscillation we as human beings experience between these dichotomies as they relate to time and space. We ask that parents send students with a snack and a drink daily as we do have an allocated snack time each day in the Courtyard. If you are having trouble providing this for your student, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help with this specific need. This allows plenty of time to order the required amount of supplies.
